Defiant: Stories from Abortion Providers on the Front Lines
Working in partnership with the National Women's Law Center, I produced six stories of abortion providers throughout the country about the workplace and career discrimination they face. These interviews took place weeks after the Dobbs decision, which brought new urgency for health care access. This series won Silver at the third Anthem Awards.
NPF and Veteran Services
Nature is remarkable, but it can be inaccessible, especially to those with disabilities. The National Park Foundation is working to remove such obstacles by partnering with veteran-led organizations to arrange fly-fishing weekends. I attended one of these retreat, where I helped tell the stories of the bonds amongst veterans and the healing effect of nature.
The Teacher
With partners at RTI, I worked alongside a local team to produce this short documentary of a teacher based in Issyk-Kul in the Kyrgyz Republic.
"Office Creatures"
My team, Peanut Productions, created "Office Creatures" as part of the DC 48 Hours Film Festival. We won Third Place, Best Editing, Best Sound Design, Best Use of Character, and Audience Favorite, as well as Honorable Mentions for the Producer Award and Best Art Direction / Production Design.
Robin Hood and the Relay Graduate School for Education
Robin Hood is one of the biggest charities in New York City, and for their 2024 Big Benefit, I had the opportunity to tell the stories of one of their partners: the Relay Graduate School of Education. My team did a deep-dive look into two of the program's stars, a superintendent and Brooklyn teacher, and how their approach to education is transforming the next generation of New Yorkers.
CGI and Ukraine
Nearly six months into the war in Ukraine, the Clinton Global Initiative welcomed President Volodymyr Zelensky to its annual stage. The above video introduced the president and represented how the conference stands in solidarity with Ukraine.
CBS Mornings
While at CBS News, I produced more than 250 stories, including the lead story after the January 6 insurrection. The resulting package ultimately contributed to the news show’s winning Emmy package for Outstanding Live News program.
